Mass at the thousand-year-old Abbey of Einsiedeln and medieval Lucerne in Switzerland. A canal cruise through Strasbourg and its Gothic Cathedral in France. In Germany: Speyer Cathedral, Heidelberg Castle and the world's largest wine barrel, the wine taverns of Rüdesheim, an afternoon on deck through the castle-lined Rhine Gorge, Reichsburg Castle above Cochem, and Cologne Cathedral. Then Amsterdam by land and by water. And when you're not busy doing all that, you'll be setting sail and socializing with Lino, Fr. Dave, Brett, and Tyler...and, of course, your fellow listeners!

If the weather cooperates, we'll do it up to the sun deck.

The AMADEUS Queen is not just a place to sleep. You'll enjoy a heated indoor pool under a glass roof that rolls back when the sun comes out. Up top, the sun deck runs nearly the full length of the ship — Lido bar, lounge chairs, shade awnings, shuffleboard and a giant chess board — and at the bow, the glass-shielded River Terrace puts you outside and right over the water. This pilgrimage has been created for listeners of Lino and Father Dave. They, along with Brett Siddell and Tyler Veghte, will be your hosts the entire week. If you don't listen to their shows, this is not the trip for you.
Are you in decent shape?
This pilgrimage involves a LOT of walking. With so much to see and do, there are long days without much down time, but we promise it will be worth it! You should plan on walking several miles a day; up and down hills, stairs and uneven pavement. If you or your plus-one would have trouble with this, this isn't the trip for you.
Do you like to have fun?
It's a pilgrimage, so of course there will be plenty of faith. We also have LOTS of fun. Lunches, dinners and even on the bus, you should plan on laughing along the way. This isn't a retreat. This will be fun! Sourpusses need not apply!
THE LOTTERY
Due to the popularity of these trips, a lottery is held to fill all available spots. You can sign up for the lottery starting Wednesday, September 16th at 4:00 PM ET. The lottery will close at 11:59 PM ET on Thursday, September 17th. During those hours the "24-HR LOTTERY" button at the top of this website will be active. We encourage you to mark your calendar or set a reminder on your phone so you do not miss the lottery window.
The lottery is NOT for a free trip. This is your chance to win the opportunity to spend thousands of dollars to travel with Lino, Fr. Dave, Tyler, and Brett. You will have the option to enter the lottery for one spot or two. No substitutions of plus-ones are allowed. If you enter the lottery for 2 spots, you must name that person at the time you enter. If you are a winner, you will be permitted to travel with them or alone but not with a substitution.
Shortly after the lottery closes, names will be drawn at random. If your name IS drawn, you will be notified via email on a ROLLING BASIS beginning Friday, September 18th and continuing through September 30th. Winners will have 48-hours from the timestamp of the email to make the $1,800/per person non-refundable deposit. If your deposit(s) is not received within the allotted 48 hours, your spot(s) will be forfeited and another name will be drawn. NOTE: Winners have 48-hours to make their deposit but cabin selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be notified whether or not you are chosen by September 30th, so watching your inbox is imperative.
ABOUT THE AMADEUS QUEEN
A trip on board the elegant AMADEUS Queen combines the luxuries of a 5-star hotel with innovative design and the first-class service of the crew.
She has four decks, 12 spacious suites with walk-out balconies, and 69 exterior staterooms — every single one with a panoramic window looking out on the passing river landscape. On the Mozart and Strauss decks those windows lower automatically at the touch of a button. The staterooms on the Haydn deck have a smaller window that does not open. Every room has a modern bathroom with a shower, climate control you set yourself, a flat-screen television and a direct-dial telephone.
The glass-shielded River Terrace at the bow invites you to sit outside and watch the river come to you. Meals are served in the Panorama Restaurant, and the heated indoor pool sits beneath a glass roof that rolls back when the sun comes out.

CABIN TYPES & PRICING
Due to the nature of cruise booking, every suite/cabin is assumed double-occupancy.
This means that if you are traveling alone and wish to be the only passenger staying in your cabin, you must pay for the entire cabin (i.e., the price of 2 passengers).
Otherwise, those passengers traveling by themselves will be paired with a roommate of the same gender, which always works out well and often results in friendships that endure long after the trip concludes. Please do consider the size of the room, especially in Category C, when deciding whether to share.
AMADEUS SUITES

Suites are the ship's most luxurious accommodation. They offer a spacious 284.2 sq ft and exclusively offer a walk-out exterior balcony. Located on the MOZART DECK, suites are conveniently located on the same level as The Panorama Bar, River Terrace, Amadeus Club, and the heated indoor pool.
They feature a comfortable corner sofa, luxurious bathroom, walk-out exterior balcony, espresso machine with a complimentary selection of coffee, mini-bar, walk-in wardrobe, AMADEUS Signature Bed in your choice of configuration (double or twin), flat-screen television, individual climate control, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and Rituals® bath products, bathrobe and slippers, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and in-room safe.

"A" Cabins are 188.4 sq ft with a drop-down panoramic window that lowers at the touch of a button for uninterrupted river views. "A" Cabins are located on the MOZART DECK and are on the same level as Suites, The Panorama Bar, River Terrace, Amadeus Club, and the heated indoor pool.
They feature a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and Rituals® bath products, drop-down panoramic window, mini-bar, walk-in wardrobe, AMADEUS Signature Bed in your choice of configuration (double or twin), flat-screen television, individual climate control, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and in-room safe.
'B' CABINS

"B" Cabins are 188.4 sq ft with a drop-down panoramic window. "B" Cabins are located on the STRAUSS DECK and are on the same level as Reception, the Panorama Restaurant, the Shop, and the Fitness Room. "B" Cabins are the same size and configuration as "A" Cabins, just on a lower deck.
They feature a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and Rituals® bath products, drop-down panoramic window, mini-bar, walk-in wardrobe, AMADEUS Signature Bed in your choice of configuration (double or twin), flat-screen television, individual climate control, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and in-room safe.
'C' CABINS

C" Cabins are 172.2 sq ft with a panoramic window and are the most economic accommodation. "C" Cabins are located on the HAYDN DECK and are on the same level as the Hair Salon and Massage Studio.
They feature a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and Rituals® bath products, small panoramic window (cannot be opened), generously-sized wardrobe, choice of bed configuration (double or twin), flat-screen television, individual climate control, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and in-room safe.

THE GROUP FLIGHT — $1,499
We hold a limited block of seats on United. A seat is $1,499 and can be added to your trip at registration. Seats are limited and are confirmed in the order they are selected. The fare includes one checked bag up to 50 lbs and one carry-on up to 15 lbs. Airfare purchased through us is non-refundable, though it can be insured if you elect trip protection at registration. Getting yourself to and from Newark is your responsibility.
Outbound — UA 134, Newark (EWR) to Zurich (ZRH). Departs Thursday, May 6 at 6:05 PM and arrives Friday, May 7 at 8:15 AM.
Return — UA 71, Amsterdam (AMS) to Newark (EWR). Departs Saturday, May 15 at 9:10 AM and arrives at 11:25 AM.
BOOKING YOUR OWN
If you are not taking the group flight, your airfare has to do two things: get you to the Arrivals Hall at Zurich Airport by 9:00 AM on Friday, May 7, and depart Amsterdam no earlier than 9:10 AM on Saturday, May 15.
Although Virgilio Travel will happily guide and advise you, the only airfare we can sell is a seat on the group flight. We cannot book connecting flights or any other airfare on your behalf.
